When you locate the entry points, you need to seal them off. You should select a few holes, especially the ones that seem to be the bigger ones, and place the one way elimination chambers there. This same technique should be used in case you have chosen to use live cages. The live cages should be located right outside the holes in order to capture the bats as they leave at dusk. You need to note that bats can use even the smallest looking holes, so do not ignore them. You should seal them off completely. Paying close attention to any stains will really help you when you are trying to find the entry and exit points that the bats are using. It is not advisable to plug all the holes when bats leave at night unless you are totally certain that there are no more bats within the area. This is why the one way elimination chambers are the best to use.

Once all the bats have left, you need to clean up the area of infestation and disinfect it thoroughly.
